James Herman painted these mixed media pastel and watercolors in his SOHO NY studio in the early 1980s.  The pieces are infused with bold colors and geometrics, a theme he continued in his Kentucky Landscapes and 12 Tribes series. 

The bright, affordable art works are wonderful showcase pieces for emerging collectors and complement a wide variety of
