The 12 Tribes
The Twelve Tribes is a tribute to the religious and cultural history of the Jews, from the beginning of time to the present. Much of this work shows images within images - paintings within paintings. The paintings are not meant to be storytelling, as such. Rather, they are major statements in color, texture and shape expressing the artist's thoughts on the Jewish people.
The series was shown at the Center for Rural Development in Somerset, KY in September 2002. A number of affordable paintings from The 12 Tribes are available for rent or purchase.
